Who We Are

Zwane Environmental assists developers and municipalities in ensuring that safe and environmentally friendly practices take place before and during the construction phase. This will be done by giving well informed advice, drawing up documents/reports, attending on-site inspections and finally setting up regular meetings that are required. Bios Mtho Zwane (Reg. EAP (EAPASA) and Director of Zwane Environmental). Mtho Zwane has five years of experience in the public and private Environmental Authorisation sectors. Mtho completed his studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and holds a Masters in Science: Environmental Science. In the public sector Mtho has reviewed proposed development applications, basic assessment reports and advised developers at the Cascades Offices. Among all of the above Mtho has also responded to enquiries as well as being involved with pre-applications with developers and EAP’s at the Cascades Office, where all the EA for uMgungundlovu district are provided. In the private sector he is involved in ECO work, audits and is also advising developers. Having worked at the department Mtho has been exposed to all components of the Environment; EIA, Waste and Compliance and monitoring. Therefore Mtho’s speciality is in socio-economic reporting.
